  • tips for getting started

    1. If you haven't participated in one of our reading challenges before, first make an account with Beanstack. Past participants can use the same account; if you forgot your e-mail or password to login, please contact the library.

    2. Download the Beanstack app! The app makes it easy to access your challenge wherever you go this summer. You can log your books, track how many days you've read, and access activities from your smart device.

    3. Add readers to your account so you can keep track of your whole family's progress. Young readers can also have their own account with their guardian's permission.

  • Who Can Participate

Anyone can participate, even if you don't have a Bethel Public Library Card. Children who can't read independently yet can participate with the help of a parent, guardian, or sibling. Having stories read to you absolutely counts!

  • Collect Your Prizes

All prizes must be picked up at the Bethel Public Library by Saturday, September 16. Prizes will not be mailed or otherwise delivered. Raffle winners will be notified by phone and e-mail when they have been selected.

  • Stay Connected With Social media

Find us on Facebook and Instagram @bethellibraryct.

Invite your friends to participate! You can even compete to see who can read the most this summer. Share pictures of your favorite books and library events. Show off when you won a prize! We love celebrating the summer with you.
