What is Beanstack?

Beanstack is a website that allows us to host events such as Summer Reading challenges, scavenger hunts, and more and allows YOU to participate in those challenges from wherever you are! You can access Beanstack through the website or their app (available for Android and Apple in your device’s app store).

Even when there isn’t an active challenge, you can use Beanstack to log your books and write reviews for your community. It’s a great way to help you keep track of what you’ve read before, and Beanstack uses your log to recommend even more books to you! You only have to register once, and then you can use the same log in for future challenges–allowing you to track your progress, set goals, and of course save time.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page for instructional videos on how to use Beanstack. If this is your first BPL challenge, the visual guides below may be helpful in getting you started! If you participated in Summer Reading at the Bethel Public Library in 2018 or 2019, you probably already have an account. The first video below teaches you how to reset your password. Please feel free to contact us if you are having difficulty retrieving your account.
