Friends of the Bethel Public Library

President: Jan Patzold

The Friends exists to provide support for the Bethel Public Library. Through membership fees, sales of gently used books, and other donations, we are able to help pay for Library programs, museum passes, Story Walk materials, and other needed items not included in the library budget. Through membership in the Friends, we the public make a huge contribution to our Public Library!

With a new era in libraries beginning, the Friends are also regrouping to find our place in this new normal. 2020 certainly was a difficult year, but it has offered some exciting opportunities for new beginnings. We continue to support the Library as we all navigate a different kind of library world.

The Friends of the Bethel Public Library is a 501(c)3 organization. All membership fees and donations are tax exempt. We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6pm, and all are encouraged and welcome to join us. We hope to expand our membership during the future, and invite everyone to come join the fun – and the work, too!
