Bethel Public Library is excited to partner with licensed daycare providers and preschools located in Bethel in order to support early literacy and promote a love of reading and public libraries.
We are committed to working with early childhood educators to support early literacy and inspire a lifelong love of reading through the services below:
Traveling Story Time
Schedule a visit with a youth librarian at your facility to present a story time and craft. Have a theme in mind? Let us know, and we will adapt our story time.
Book a Program
Do you see an event or activity on our website that your preschoolers would enjoy? Either request a special time to visit the Library or request we come to you to present the selected program.
Field Trips to the Library
Are you interested in bringing your preschool classes to the Library? You can plan a visit where staff will greet you and help children navigate the Library and utilize our materials.
This is a great opportunity to enhance your story book collections and extend library resources to children. Librarians will put together a collection of books for your preschool that can be based on a theme or particular interest and then delivered to your location.
Online Printable Resources for Preschoolers
With a library card, get free access to Scholastic Teachables printable resources for your classroom.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
