How Your Library Keeps Kids Busy…and Having Fun this Summer!
Summer starts with excitement, but can slow to the doldrums pretty quickly for kids. Bring children to the Michele Arnhold Children’s Library, and keep them engaged all summer long!
READ! Kids can find books to borrow and read for school reading logs, or simply for their own enjoyment. Audio books and e-books also are available for kids. Dive into some great books this summer…Click here!
PLAY! Our “Build a Better World” summer reading program has plenty of fun built in. Join us for Build-a-Thon Day on July 25 and create with KEVA planks and LEGO bricks.
DO! Come to the Library for fun weekly programs, like Lunch Bunch Storytimes on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to noon, and Craft Days on Thursdays between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Click here to get to the online calendar for details and more programs.
WIN! There are lots of prizes in store for kids who complete the summer reading program. Kids participating in the program play our game each time they read three books, and are eligible to win small trinkets as well as passes to Quassy Amusement Park and tickets to baseball and WNBA games! Kids are winners this summer at Bethel Public Library!
