Give Where You Live
By Lynn Rosato, Library Director
Mark your calendars—March 10 is almost here! For the third year, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation is hosting our region’s biggest philanthropic event to inspire communities to GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE. Last year, 13,000 donations raised over $1 million for 386 local nonprofits in a single 24-hour period. This year is set to break records–and you can be a part of this special opportunity to support your Bethel Public Library.
The Library, through the Friends of the Library, is thrilled to be a Community Partner of Giving Day. On March 10, we’ll have giving stations available at the Library for anyone to stop by and make a donation. If you prefer, you can donate online from home. Remember! Fairfield County Giving Day is One Day Only, and donations must be made online through the FCGives website.
As a thank you gift, the first 100 donors to give $50 or more will receive a free Bethel Public Library coffee mug. To encourage others to donate, why not consider being a match donor? For example, you might pledge to match the first 5 gifts of $10 (for a total gift of $50). For that level of pledge, we would offer you a Library mug as a thank you gift. Should you choose to pledge $500 or more, you’ll receive a plaque on the Library’s Donor Wall engraved with an inscription of your choice.
For more information, please contact me at the Library, and thank you in advance for your support.
