In conjunction with Bethel's celebration of the bicentennial of P.T. Barnum's birth, an exhibit of Barnum & Bailey and other vintage circus posters are on display throughout the Bethel Public Library through October 31st. The framed posters are available for sale at $225.00 each, with 10% of the purchase price going to the Library's capital campaign. For additional information, please call 203-792-8237.

  Our sale of vibrant potted fall chrysanthemums corresponds with the Downtown Bethel Fall Festival, the Bethel Library Wine Tasting Event and the special 2010 P.T. Barnum Celebration.
• Holiday Wreath Sale - Friday, November 26, 2010
  Live and artificial wreaths come decorated and ready to brighten any holiday setting.  Sale is the same day as the popular annual Bethel Tree Lighting Event at P.T. Barnum Park.

  Lovely spring pansies will be sold - cheerful bright live plants to bloom in your window or garden.

		Wine Tasting Tuesday, September 21, from 6-9 pm Enjoy great wine and hors d'oeuvres at our Wine Tasting fund raiser held at La Zingara Ristorante $35 per person. Each attendee will receive a commemorative wine glass with admission. Sponsored by the Friends of the Bethel Public Library

		3rd annual Mum Sale is Saturday, September 25th, 10-3, Library lawn Purchase pretty potted mums at our annual sale on the Library lawn.
		Dedication of Barnum Statue is Sunday, September 26th at noon - Library Lawn Join the Bethel Historical Society as they dedicate their P.T. Barnum Statue on the Library lawn, then watch the Carnival of Clowns Parade welcome P. T. Barnum home from jail.
