The Bethel Public Library offers computers for public use, all of which are equipped with standard office software and Internet browsing capability. Computers throughout the Library include:
- For adults, ten PCs and two iMacs;
- For teens, three PCs and two iMacs; and
- For children, and adults accompanied by their children, five PCs.
The Library’s free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the building. Access does not require a password.
Color and black and white printing is available. Color prints are 60¢ per page and black & white prints are 20¢ per page.
Public Fax machine is located on the second floor of the Library. For directions and help, please inquire at the Reference Desk.
The Bethel Library offers two black and white copiers for public use. Cost of black and white copies is 15¢ per page.
For digitizing documents, the Library offers four regular scanners and one large-format scanner. To reserve a computer with a scanner, please call the Reference Desk at 203-794-8756, ext. 4.
Business and Technology Center
Computer classes offered by the Library are held in the Business and Technology Center. The Center is equipped with nine computers, two scanners, and a color printer. Specialized software available in the Center includes Photoshop Elements version 12.
The Library has a 3-D printer available for public use, following a mandatory training session. For more information, please call the Reference Desk at 203-794-8756, ext. 4.
AWE Early Literacy Stations
Two Early Literacy Stations are available for kids ages 2 through 8 in the Michele Arnhold Children’s Library. They feature more than 60 educational interactive software programs in seven curricular areas. The educational titles are pre-loaded on the computers and displayed using engaging graphics and intuitive menus. No Internet connection is required so it is safe and secure.
