Downloadable Audiobooks

Downloadable audiobooks are just like the audio books you get at the library, except that you download them directly onto your computer. From there, all titles are transferrable onto a portable device and some may also be burnt onto CD. Hoopla – Borrow a variety of digital media materials, including audiobooks, music, movies, television series, ebooks, and comics. Downloading and streaming are compatible with many electronic devices. Available for Bethel patrons only.

researchIT CT’s OneClickDigital – Choose eAudio from the Filter box to search downloadable audio books from the Connecticut State Library. Available for all Connecticut residents.

Downloadable eBooks

The Library provides free downloadable eBooks for its patrons.  You can enjoy eBooks in three formats: Kindle Books, EPUB, and PDF. Kindle Books can be delivered to Kindle devices and Kindle reading apps. EPUB eBooks are perfect for mobile devices and e-book readers because their text fits any screen.
