Memoir Writing Workshop #4

April 10, 2014 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Memoir writing

Sponsored by the Institute of Museum and Library Services

A Series of Memoir Writing Workshops presented by Linda Chiara and Jan Kardys

Everyone has a story to tell. Whether your life is unconventional or relatively typical, there’s bound to be something fascinating about it. In the course of four workshops, Linda Chiara, a professional writer and teacher, will show you how to focus your life stories and give them a literary purpose. Whether you seek to write an essay-length piece or a book, she’ll share her experience and show you how to best tell the stories from your life. Jan Kardys, a literary agent, will explain how and where to market your work.

Registration is required and limited to 15 per workshop. We recommend that you register for all four workshops at once if you wish to take the complete course. We anticipate that there may be a waiting list, so we ask that you please let us know– as soon as possible–if you’re no longer able to attend.
