Services provided by the children’s department:

  • Attend one of many Pre-School Story Hour sessions for children ages 3-5.
  • Attend creative and fun programs for elementary school aged children.
  • Participate in special Summer Reading Programs and enjoy games, prizes and a party, too!
  • Find the books you need to do your summer reading school assignment.
  • Explore Internet websites designed especially for parents & kids.
  • Receive help with your homework and get answers to your questions.
  • Find information on books and authors.
  • Use a computer to write a letter, do your homework, or play a CD-ROM game.

  2. Click on Advanced Search (top left)
  3. On the 'Advanced Search" form,  click down arrow on the SUBJECT line
  4. Highlight Juvenile Fiction or Nonfiction
  5. Click on GO to get a complete listing of downloadable books in that category
