Children's Story Hours

Pre-School Storytime – Fall Session
September 28/29 - November 9/10
Tuesdays and Wednesdays
10:30 – 11:00 am
Children’s Program Room

A program of stories, songs or fingerplays, and a short Video/DVD or simple craft. For Bethel children 3, 4, and 5 years old who are able to sit alone without an adult. All children must be 3 years old by September 29 to attend the class. Due to space limitations parents/caregivers may not sit with the children , but are asked to remain in the library during the storytimes. Non-Bethel residents will be allowed to register if space permits.

Registration required to attend - September 20 - 27, in person only at the Children's Services Desk. Limit 20 children to a session.

Terrific Twos Program – Fall Session
October 15 - November 19
Fridays, 10:30 - 11:00 am
Children’s Program Room

A program of stories, fingerplays, a short DVD/Video and simple craft for 2 year olds accompanied by an adult. For Bethel children who are 2 years old as of October 15. Due to space limitations, only the 2 year old and a parent/caregiver can participate in the program. Siblings are not eligible to attend the class.

Registration required to attend. – In Person Only – October 6 – 12 at the Children’s Services Desk. Limit: 10 children with a parent/caregiver to the class.

Storytime Saturdays
October 9
10:30 – 11:00 am
Children’s Program Room

A monthly Saturday Storytime program featuring stories and crafts or a short DVD/Video. For children 3 - 8 years old who are able to sit alone without an adult. Due to space limitations parents/caregivers may not sit with the children, but are asked to remain in the library during the storytime. No registration required.

PJ Storytimes
September 20 and October 18
Mondays, 6:30 - 7:00 pm
Children’s Program Room

A monthly evening Storytime program that includes stories, DVD’s and crafts suitable for children ages 3 - 8 years old who are able to sit alone without an adult. Due to space limitations, parents/caregivers may not sit with the children but are asked to remain in the library during the storytimes.
Children should come dressed in pajamas. Favorite stuffed bedtime pals may also attend! No Registration Required.
