Let's Welcome Our New Friends To The Children's Library!

The Children's Library has purchased a new collection of stuffed animals and puppets for kids to enjoy and play with. Some familiar new Friends include Curious George, Biscuit, Clifford, and the Goodnight Moon Bunny. Next time you visit the Library come in and check out our new additions found in the toy and puzzle area!

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

How would you like to put a little magic into your child's hands each month?
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a unique opportunity to do something simple and powerful for preschoolers.

A free, age-appropriate book will be mailed directly to your child or children every month until his or her 5th birthday. Registration is limited to only those children who are ages four and under and who reside in Bethel.

You may register your child or children for Imagination Library anytime.
And, yes, it's free!

Kid's Chess Classes & Clubs

For kids who understand the basic rules and moves of the game.
Registration is required and opens two weeks before each club meets.
Both clubs meet in the Seelye Program Room.

Page's Chess Club for kids in Grades 1-3

Knight's Chess Club for kids in Grades 4-8.

For kids who understand the basic rules and moves of the game.

Registration is required to attend each class by calling the Children's Services Desk at 203-794-8756, Ex. 5 or by registering in person at the desk. Registration opens two weeks before each club meets.
