Requests, Reserves, and Suggestions for Purchase

To request an item not owned by Bethel Public Library:

If you would like to request a book or other item not owned by Bethel Library you can email your request, call the Library, or come in and fill out a book request form. In most cases, we will be able to get the item for you. You will have to come in promptly to the library to get the book when we phone you that it has arrived. To request any book or other item by email, send a request giving your name, your library card number, your telephone number so we can call you when the item comes in, the author and the title. No more than 5 requests, please.

To put a hold on an item owned by Bethel Public Library that is in, call 794-8756 during library hours and ask that the item be held at the circulation desk.

Suggestions for Purchase:

If you would like to suggest an item for the Bethel Public to purchase please email your suggestion with the following information:

  • Format - book, video, DVD, book on tape/CD, etc.
  • Title
  • Author if applicable
  • Comments about why you are recomending it.
  • Please also include your Name; address; and Library Card number.
