The Friends of the Bethel Public Library will hold its annual MINI-BIG BOOK SALE on Saturday, August 24 from 10 AM to 4 PM. The sale will take place in the Bethel Public Library’s lobby and community room. Money from the sale helps fund a variety of library programs, including the First Book Program for children and the Cultural Pass Program that offers library patrons free or reduced admission to museums throughout Connecticut.
The MINI-BIG BOOK SALE will feature thousands of books and audiovisual materials for folks of all ages, including non-fiction in every imaginable subject and one-of-a-kind vintage books. Most items will be priced at 50 cents to $3, with a $5 bag sale starting at 3 PM.
The Book Cellar in the basement of the library will be open throughout the sale. Here, gently used books, CDs, DVDs and vinyl are sold year-round.
